Wait on the Lord
"Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and he shall strengthened your heart; wait I say, on the Lord!" Psalm 27:14
Once again the verse got refreshed in my mind when I was doing my devotion today. Thanks to a friend, who previously encouraged me with the same verse, which strengthened my struggling faith and I held on to the hope.
We have to depend on the Lord, to be patient, and to submit to his Will on Earth. Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength Isaiah 40:31
When we are depressed / feel that life is hopeless /tired of waiting on the Lord, we must drop our knees and call upon Him!! because he will renew our strength =)
Pray that He will revive us all.

"FAD" diets
Finally, I am trudging the way towards a professional career. =P
Clinical nutrition, (grind) a very well-known course for its complexity and professionalism. Many failed, but some passed with flying colors =）It's not the lecture slides that's hard per se, it's about the whole clinical nutrition, from basis of reading physicians' beautiful handwriting, to reviewing abstracts for specific studies. So much hard-earned money is spent on textbooks, reference book, drug medication handbook, medical dictionaries, printer inks, papers............... hopefully, it's of a good reason and worth the price.
- I enjoy being in this class-
Here are some info to share about " FAD" diets that i've learnt today.
- be careful when you'r dieting, remember to supplement yourself with sufficient macronutrients especially protein, and important micronutrients eg. Ca, Fe
- You've to burn -500kcal/d to lose a pound in a week. - preferably done by increasing your physical activity
- High servings of fruits & veg has a stronger correlation towards decreasing Cardiovascular disease, compared to low amount of fat consumed
- Don't over do it, you will suffer from malnutrition/electrolyte imbalance etc...
Alright, that's it for now, something put off my mood in continuing..
An extremely obese lady/girl/women has move to the vacant room beside me, i tried not to be racist, but she's a french black................I dont have high expectation becoming her "best friend" -as if I want to.. but just please, hope that she doesn't start blowing up the room with rock music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lost piece
Infatuated with the familiar melodies, many thoughts came into mind.. Often, we are so busy with "stuff" that we tent to forget something important..
Today, I found a missing piece in my heart, my love of life... Starting from tomorrow, I hope that I could put in all effort in sustaining this "lover" of mine, because it will never do me any harm. =)

Song of goodbye
Holiday has just passed like that. No one will ever groan how long a holiday would be, right? Anyways, it's just a short-term rest to prepare yourself for a longer journey (chinese idioms). I'm awaiting the long-term, permanent rest in The Celestial City..
Prepare to make sacrifices to the Lord, It's nothing compared to what he has done for us, to die on the Cross to save our sins. It doesn;t mean that you have to be poor to serve the Lord/ gave up potential of earning money.
Matthew 19：24
It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.
It's difficult, but it's not impossible, let not your riches to draw you away from your faith!! Our heart should be committed to the Lord, there will of course be sufferings, persecution & self denial.. But have faith, In the Lord. =)
Do not wait, repent of our sins now, while it's still not too late.

Can I earn it?
"Come humbly to God to plead upon His mercy to save you..".. " come as you are, as sinner, to the Lord Jesus Christ" Pastor Poh's Talk #3,youth camp 2008.
Wait not, for you to become better only then turn to Lord. It's by God's choice that I can be saved, not mine, but could I earn it?
It's true that many old folks are unwilling to turn to Christ as they want to stay together with their loved ones in hell when they met their time. However, there is no trace of gratitude, love in hell.. Why be so stubborn? Why moan while it's not appreciated? Why waste money, energy and effort? Why not do something that's helpful to yourself instead? - To repent our sins and trust in Jesus Christ.
All these objections arises out of the tradition of sustaining a culture... I just hope that my grannies will understand it.....

Happy New Year~~
I came across something today that I would like to share.
Revelation 21:1
NOw I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.. And i heard a loud voice from the throne saying " now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them"
Today you celebrate the beginning of a new year. One day you will celebrate the beginning of a new world. How certain are you that you will be in the new world one day? Hopefully all of us will grab this opportunity while it's still available, to repent of our sins, receive The Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour. What a priceless privilege..
A new year had arrived and looking back the passed year, what major deeds have I accomplished? What are the regrets? I'll keep this to myself and should begin setting my resolutions soon.
hopefully i can stay strong with Lord's strength and may everything to be done in His glory. Also, I am thankful for what I've now. Thank you ,Lord , for giving me such experiences on what I'm doing, or where ever I am , thank you, for providing me unfailing love and undeserved blessings.
